Ghosts are enemies that are encountered in most places where the storyline takes place - they can perform jumpscares or attack the player. Defeating them adds them to the Ghostpedia. As Linda gets near a ghost, the edges of the screen glow red. Most of these ghosts are based on Indonesian folklore and sometimes part of other cultures.
